There was no electricity or previous light fixture on the side of the garage to provide some lighting for both safety and security on the sidewalk that leads to the back patio. I had debated whether or not to bore a 3/8 hole through the concrete and run wiring for another light.
Then I found this light fixture by BRiMMEL and have been very happy with the price and operation. What I did not realize when purchasing this light is that it has No Glass on the fixture. This is a bonus since I will not have to clean the glass when it becomes foggy from dew condensation or tree sap, etc. To clean cob webs I can use the leaf blower or the hose on light spray.
The light arrived fully charged but I still kept it in the off setting and allowed a full day charge before using. The button to turn on is a long 3 second press and then just hold for a second to change modes. My only improvement for future models is to have the light blink the number of time to know which mode the light is using.
No we have a motion sensor light that illuminates for under a minute or we can have a dim mode to keep on during the evening.
I was looking for something to add some dimension and light to some flower pots on my patio - I didn't want the same old "push a stake into the ground" solar lights, and I wanted something heavy enough to stand up to the wind gusts we sometimes get here, living at the base of the mountains. These lights fit the bill to a T! I tucked them right next to two large flower boxes I have on my patio steps.
The lights, themselves, are heavier than I expected, and feel nice and solid when you take them out of the box. The frame lets the wind pass through so they are not always falling down and getting knocked around by the up to 55MPH gusts we get here, and the light just hangs down from the top but does not add any significant weight, so they are not top-heavy at all.
And the light! It's remarkably bright! Not so bright that it's obnoxious and you have to shield your eyes or anything, but definitely bright enough that, if it's dark out and there's no moon, you can find your way around the patio to pick things up as you head into the house. No more stumbling or trying to hold your phone flashlight in one hand as you grab plates or towels, etc., with the other!
We haven't really tried the motion detector setting too often because we prefer the "always on" once the sun goes down setting, but as long as you have the sensor pointed in the direction of the activity you want to trigger the light, the motion sensor setting works great, too.
Bottom line: I would not hesitate to purchase these lights again, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a taller, more substantial, outdoor solar light.
The three modes are fairly intuitive- on at dusk, on at dusk with motion sense boost, and motion sense only. The last mode is impressively bright, but I'm really only using the first mode for my application. The on-at-dusk light level is certainly enough to light up the otherwise dark corner they were put in, and the light output was respectable even after an overcast day.
Installation was easy enough for anyone who knows how to turn a screw; the mounting bracket was well-designed and easy to use.
The price isn't the lowest you can find here, but the fit and finish of the aluminum frame, as well as the capability of the LED hardware is more than commensurate to the pricetag. I ordered another four for the backyard after running this set for two weeks.

Cost for custom furniture delivery is based on your proximity to your personal Hawkins Woodshop furniture artisan. You are assigned and introduced to your HW carpenter after purchase. Delivery cost is paid directly to your HW personal furniture artisan 2-3 days prior to scheduled delivery via any payment method you chose (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, FB Pay, Check, Cash, Credit Card, etc).

How much time after I purchase do I have to cancel for a refund?
There are no cancellations or refunds for any order under any circumstances for any reason. If an item arrives damaged or missing parts, Colby and Madilyn Hawkins will work with the manufacturer to provide you parts or a replacement as quickly as possible.
These terms are posted on each product page, on our home page, and require customer consent during checkout and prior to a purchase.
Immediately after placing an order our suppliers go to work getting your order out the door. Due to this, orders can’t be changed or canceled. However, if it arrives damaged or missing parts we get you replacement(s) free of charge, of course!
In extenuating circumstances, customers may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchase via texting 916-692-0554 or emailing sales@hawkinswoodshop.com for store credit.
Will you refund me back onto my card?
Never will an approved order cancellation (one that is done immediately after purchase) be refunded back onto an original payment method. All approved cancellations done prior to receiving an order confirmation by text or email will be refunded back via store credit within 2-3 business days.
Again, once a purchase is confirmed, even prior to shipping, there can be no cancellation under any circumstance and for any reason.
How much time after receiving my non custom order do I have to ask to return the item?
