In The Swim Super Pool Shock

Swimming pool shock treatments are an essential aspect of spring pool opening but can also give your pool a quick chlorine boost. Super Pool Shock-Oxidizer is our most powerful shock treatment. It will eliminate the toughest non-living organic waste as well as other harmful non-living contaminants in your water. Pools with excessive non-living organic contaminants, debris, and heavy sunlight will need a proportionally higher dose of shock-oxidizer to account for such factors.

Super Pool Shock-Oxidizer will eliminate visible and invisible non-living organic contaminants which could cause illness to swimmers. Daily shock-oxidizer will kill most non-living organic contaminants; however, it is a good practice to use shock-oxidizer in your pool every few weeks.

Kills Algae & Bacteria

Use our Pool Shock to kill visible algae blooms and invisible bacteria, which could cause illness to swimmers. Your daily chlorination of the pool will kill most pathogenic bacteria, viruses and microbes, however to be sure that the water is sanitary, it is good practice to ‘shock the pool’, or super-chlorinate the pool every few weeks, to oxidize everything in the water, especially the invisible germs that may be harboring in the water.

Super Chlorinate

One pound of In The Swim Pool Shock will raise free chlorine levels in a clean and balanced pool to 9 ppm, per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Pools with excessive debris, algae, suspended particles or heavy sunlight will need a proportionally higher dose of pool shock, to compensate for such factors. A double or triple dose is often required for poor water conditions such as spring openings, bacteria contamination, or severe algae blooms.

A: Using Super Pool Shock as a weekly maintenance shock you would use 1 pound per 10,000 gallons. Using Super Pool Shock as an algae killer you would use around 2 pounds per 14,000 gallons until the algae dies and algae is vacuumed out of the pool.

Q: How do I dispense In The Swim Super Pool Shock?
A: Add the recommended dosage of this product during the evening hours while the filter pump is running. When adding In The Swim Super Pool Shock to your pool, broadcast the product evenly over a wide area in the deepest part of the pool. Use entire contents when opened. If any granules settle to the bottom of the pool, use a brush to properly disperse.
