Have a seat fit for an executive in the Serta Big and Tall Executive Office Chair. This leather office chair features an ergonomic design with deep layers of plush cushioning and hand-sculpted, upholstered armrests. Built with commercial grade components to support up to 350 pounds, this big and tall chair features a wide seat and tall headrest back. Customized positioning is easy with the EZ-Reach Control Arm, which allows the seat height to be adjusted up to 3-3/4 inches. This desk chair also has a contoured lumbar zone for lower-back support and an elevated headrest for comfort. Multi-surface, dual-wheel casters make it easy to move around, and scuff-resistant footpads provide a comfortable and durable place to rest your feet.

NON CUSTOM FURNITURE

Delivery for imported, manufactured furniture by our production partners is FREE NATIONWIDE!

No costly prime membership is required nor is any bogus minimum order amount required.

Delivery time varies based on the product but is typically 2-5 business days, but may be up to 4+ weeks for large freight items like couches.

LOCALLY MADE TO ORDER, SOLID WOOD FURNITURE

Average turn-around time from date of purchase till pick-up or delivery of a made to order solid-wood furniture purchase is 4-6 weeks.  Turn-around may be as short as 2 weeks and as long as 12 weeks.

Nearly all custom furniture orders may be picked up for free within 60 miles of any metropolitan area in the continental United States.

However, local delivery for custom furniture is also available!

Cost for custom furniture delivery is based on your proximity to your personal Hawkins Woodshop furniture artisan.  You are assigned and introduced to your HW carpenter after purchase.  Delivery cost is paid directly to your HW personal furniture artisan 2-3 days prior to scheduled delivery via any payment method you chose (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, FB Pay, Check, Cash, Credit Card, etc).

Built-to-order furniture delivery rates are:
< 20 miles = $89.97
21-45 miles = $129.97
46-74 miles = $189.97
75-100 miles = $269.97
101-130 miles = $349.97

Returns & Cancellations

We've two categories of products for sale.

#1) Solid hardwood custom furniture that we make locally in every region throughout the United States. #2) Non custom furniture manufactured by our production partners. Each item on our store has its origin listed in its product description as made-to-order in the USA or imported from overseas. Kindly note, misunderstanding a product's origin isn't grounds for a cancellation or refund.

Non Custom Furniture Returns & Cancellations:

How much time after I purchase do I have to cancel for a refund?

In extenuating circumstances, customers may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchase via texting 916-692-0554 or emailing sales@hawkinswoodshop.com. There are no refunds on any orders after 24 hours of purchase for any reason. If an order is lost during delivery we will arrange a free replacement. If an order is delivered damaged or missing parts we will procure free replacement parts for you from the manufacturer. Kindly note, buyer's remorse, delays during COVID, etc are not valid for cancellations/refunds.

Will you refund me back onto my card?

All approved order cancellations will be reimbursed via store credit only, minus a 15% fee.

How much time after receiving my non custom order do I have to ask to return the item?

We do not accept returns for any reason. If a product arrives damaged/missing parts please contact Colby at 916-692-0554 or kindly email sales@hawkinswoodshop.com. Rest assured, we'll help get you a free replacement or free delivery of any missing parts.

Delays during the COVID-19 pandemic do not constitute grounds for cancellation or a refund. Everyone is trying their best, including us. Supply chains have been decimated across the world. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we experience a hiccup with your order's supply chain.

Orders lost by a carrier are not grounds for cancellation. All lost or damaged delivered orders will be replaced free of charge.

Given its hand made and hand-finished nature, variations and imperfections in solid, real-wood furniture are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is an original and no two pieces are exactly alike. By their nature, wood planks may be somewhat uneven and may develop small cracks and cup or bow over time due to changes in temperature or humidity. We believe this only enhances the furniture's rustic, unique character.

There are no cancellations or refunds on built-to-order furniture.

But please don't fret, there are lots of reasons we have so many 5 star reviews from customers. Perhaps the biggest reason is we LOVE our customers!  We work until you are completely satisfied, & offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee at time of delivery or pick-up.

Chair shopping is frustrating, this is a good chair

Prelude:
I'm a college student who got their first desk chair buying a room full of furniture from the last tenant of my house for a couple hundred bucks. I loved my chair cause I could sit criss-cross applesauce and lean back so far that I could sleep periodically while pulling all nighters. It had no butt support (I had a pillow and blanket layered under me) and the entire thing was basically held together with packing tape, but we spent many a night together and I appreciated it beyond rational thought. The final straw tho was when I was napping and one of the legs snapped, almost landing my head on the corner of my bookshelf. Even then, I loved this chair so much that I taped a tide pod box to the broken leg and kept it for another 8 months, playing russian roulette every time I leaned back, rolling the dice if I would fall over or not. After finally acquiring a student job I decided it was time for my Tide Pod Box Chair to go to the big office max in the sky. I tell you the legacy of TPBC to emphasize how reluctant I was to get a new chair, and how picky I was at selecting it. I searched for days before finally ordering this one out of defeat.

Review:
It seems that every frickin chair in the world has contradicting reviews online. One review says it's comfy, tall, and has great support, another says that this chair kicked their dog and embezzled money from their savings account. I'm here to assure you that this chair is a good chair. It came in 2 days with prime shipping, and took me under a half hour to assemble. My poor butt had no idea what support felt like until I sat in this desk chair.

I am a lanky 6'5" basketball center with legs for days, and while I can't sit completely criss-cross applesauce like TPBC provided due to this chair's arms, I can twist my ridiculously long body into many comfortable positions with how wide the seat is. I don't think it would provide a comfortable amount of wiggle room for any of my heavier set friends out there, but my needs are met. The top of my head does go a couple inches above the back of the chair when it's straight up, but leaning back provides the perfect angle for me to tilt my head back and rest. The legs on this thing are sturdy. I am greatly enjoying leaning as far back as I please without the neverending threat of potential death looming over me, and I think after a good bit of use it will lean back as far as I'd like. The lowest setting is a little high for my semi-low desk, but my criss-crossed legs still fit under comfortably.

Appearance-wise this baby looks just like the picture. The cushions provide good back/spine alignment and while I was concerned that the cushy pad at the front of the seat would be annoying its not at all, it actually provides more support and prevents me from tipping forward. The twisty thing that sets how easily you can lean back does its job perfectly, as does the height adjustment.

If you're not looking to spend a bajillion dollars on an executive chair with the most confusing reviews in the world and you don't have the ability to go find a chair you can test in a store cause your tuition keeps you tap dancing the poverty line, this is a really. great. chair.

I am a very honest reviewer and I would not steer people wrong, This is a Serta chair not sure what the other reviewers are talking about the nicer Serta chair the one i had before is about 200 more and i actually like this one better because it adjust very high and low and leans back, The more expensive one has a lot more padding but the down side it doesn't adjust much.

Instructions are a little challenging but we figured it out!
So I actually like this one better. my only qualm is it took my husband like 30 minutes to figure out out to get it to recline as the instructions are just not good it says to twist but you have to pull the lever instead.

Great for big and tall people!

I am 5"6 and weigh 270 pounds real actual women so finding a chair that supports my weight and height. I am a Graphic designer so I sit in this chair 10 + hours straight. I love that this puts me at exact height level of my monitor and takes pressure off my feet and legs as now I'm sitting higher. I have back problems and this chair is amazing for that.

Amazing value!
This is a great value as I went to office depot and paid the same price for a chair which i cant return and it broke within 30 days it doesn't lean back now and the seat is flat. This chair came in perfect condition not tears or rips and it is an authentic Serta as that is all I buy. I almost didn't buy this chair because of the reviews. Just an fyi this is my third serta and they dont go flat. I buy new chairs every few years because im an excessive user and realistically its not uncommon to do so also my cat scratches them up. Ive had many chairs and this one is the best so far and ive paid for chairs all the way up into the 600 ranges.

Firstly, assembly was quick and easy. I've put together five or six similar chairs, and it's always the same. Wheels snap into the base, the cylinder drops into the center of the base, bolt the controls to the bottom of the seat, place that onto the cylinder, bolt the arms to the seat, and bolt the back to the arms. For some reason, this time, it went quicker than in the past. It could be higher-quality components. All I know is that I was able to put it together by myself in about 10 minutes.

The chair has lots of cushioning and feels rock solid. Best of all, the seat goes way up. I can raise it high enough that my legs can dangle if I choose.

One "modification" was that I used the 

Office Owl Office Chair Wheels









 that I yanked off the chair this one was replacing. You'll probably want to use those or similar wheels on this or any other office chair. It makes a massive difference in rolling convenience.

Wheels aside, this is a comfortable chair for even modestly big people like me.

I am 6'5 and it was hard to find the chair that my back would agree with.

This chair was not bad to put together. The reason I gave 4 stars was the fact that the manual had the screws mislabeled on assembly instructions.

I was able to figure out that all the bolts was there and the assembly was not all that bad until I got to the arms. to get the holes lined up you have to make sure the metal rings go inside the hokes of the arm then screw in but not all the way until you get back support connected to arms.

Comfort is great for this price. cushion is pretty good for a budget office chair. cushion has not collapsed yet and still feeling comfort when I sit in it for hours doing my online classes and work.

I did not want to buy a expensie modern office chair due to the fact I live a budget lifestyle right now. This chair fits the bill and I will be buying one for my office at work as well.

I weigh over 400lbs and needed a new chair. I had a gaming chair before this one, which was uncomfortable and had all sorts of problems. I didn't know Serta even made chairs, but being mattress people I figured it would be comfortable. It is! Not only is the seat big enough for me, it's nice and cushy. The armrests are screwed in place, but they don't dig into me. It comes with decent enough casters.

I did get a seat cushion for it to make it even better and I am looking at lumbar support because this chair doesn't have much (unless I'm too short to fit properly - I'm 5'7" ). With some upgrades this is a great chair.

We've used this chair for over one year. My husband weighs 330 lbs and he's 6'5". He loves this chair. Recently the air cylinder gave out. I called True Innovations and found out that the mechanical parts of this chair are under warranty for 10 years! All I had to do was fill out a form and email my Amazon receipt. The parts are on their way. They even emailed instructions on how to remove the broken cylinder and replace the new one. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend this chair especially for Big and Tall People!
