CONS
- Looks like a cheap finish and the top is in 3 pieces, which is unattractive. The seam isn't ideal, but manageable.
- The wire box does not catch wires, so mine are hanging from the right hand side of desk.
- The little monitor table doesn't attach to the desk, which might seem cool at first, except it's continuously sliding around the desk. Every day I have to scoot it up so I don't have an accident with items falling off my desk.

I’ll keep the desk bc in a COVID environment and 10+ hrs/day on Webex meetings ... I need it! On the fence for recommendation.
*9/28/20 Update - Well my sit/stand is no longer stand, only sit. The motor works just fine, but the control box now thinks 34 is the highest the desk can possibly go. Luckily, that's a comfortable sitting height, but no standing. After going back and forth w Customer Service 17 times (had to send pics/video/first born child), they agreed to send a new motor.
11/18/20 Update - No motor. Emailed Cust Service who was very responsive and apologised. Offered to send a replacement desk and confirmed information.
12/1/20 - Desk is supposed to arrive by this date. Fingers crossed. If the company is able to replace this is truly above and beyond customer service. However, I wish we were able to just reprogram the box.
12/8/20 - the new desk arrived! Honestly feel like this has been such a journey with about 28 emails exchanges with customer service- all very friendly! Thank you fezibo for making it right.
UPDATE: Seller eventually got back to me and we went through some additional diagnostic steps with videos to proof etc but to no avail. Seller sent replacement parts and seems to be working. I will update this review later if this solve it for me once and for all.
The table seems like a good deal. I could overlook the fact that the table surface is junk assuming the adjustable electronics works fine and it's an L-shape table I am looking for. Unfortunately, this thing is a complete junk. The table top is junk for sure, but usable, and unfortunately, the motorized legs are also junk eventhough they look fairly good built but it just doesn't work. It will go out of sync every day, one of the leg would either not move, move halfway, or move slower causing the table to be lopsided. To make matter worst, this is a hazard if you have kids around because when it gets lopsided, my monitors and everything else on the table are at a risk of falling.
That said, the seller isn't very motivated to help. They wanted videos, pictures and then won't respond after you give it to them. I wouldn't buy this. I have similarly priced table but not L-Shape which works all the time. So to me, this is a piece of junk and not worth the price. Now i have to deal with the hassle of getting this disassembled and returned.
The raising and lowering of the desk is smooth and quiet for the most part. After the first few lowerings though, now it makes a very slight noise that it didn't before, but that isn't loud either. I've only had the desk for about a month, but already use it in the standing position more than I used the one at work, I think because the L shape gives me more room to move around than my rectangular desk at work did, and I have more room for my legs to stretch out between my chair and the wall because they face a corner, rather than a flat wall.
The memory settings are great, and are easy to set. The only thing that needs a little getting used to is the motor's continuation of the raising or lowering for a second or so after you stop pushing the button. You can still choose to do very small increments if you want to just by using the up and down buttons individually, and for just a second or so, instead of the preset buttons. Very nice. You can also stop the progress of the motor after you push a preset button by simply pushing the up or down button once. The desk will stop moving up or down. You can then choose another button to again move it how you want it to go.

Average turn-around time from date of purchase till pick-up or delivery of a made to order solid-wood furniture purchase is 4-6 weeks. Turn-around may be as short as 2 weeks and as long as 12 weeks.
Nearly all custom furniture orders may be picked up for free within 60 miles of any metropolitan area in the continental United States.
However, local delivery for custom furniture is also available!
Cost for custom furniture delivery is based on your proximity to your personal Hawkins Woodshop furniture artisan. You are assigned and introduced to your HW carpenter after purchase. Delivery cost is paid directly to your HW personal furniture artisan 2-3 days prior to scheduled delivery via any payment method you chose (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, FB Pay, Check, Cash, Credit Card, etc).

21-45 miles = $129.97
46-74 miles = $189.97
75-100 miles = $269.97

Non-Custom-Furniture Returns & Cancellations:
How much time after I purchase do I have to cancel for a refund?
There are no cancellations or refunds for any order under any circumstances for any reason. If an item arrives damaged or missing parts, Colby and Madilyn Hawkins will work with the manufacturer to provide you parts or a replacement as quickly as possible.
These terms are posted on each product page, on our home page, and require customer consent during checkout and prior to a purchase.
Immediately after placing an order our suppliers go to work getting your order out the door. Due to this, orders can’t be changed or canceled. However, if it arrives damaged or missing parts we get you replacement(s) free of charge, of course!
In extenuating circumstances, customers may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchase via texting 916-692-0554 or emailing sales@hawkinswoodshop.com for store credit.
Will you refund me back onto my card?
Never will an approved order cancellation (one that is done immediately after purchase) be refunded back onto an original payment method. All approved cancellations done prior to receiving an order confirmation by text or email will be refunded back via store credit within 2-3 business days.
Again, once a purchase is confirmed, even prior to shipping, there can be no cancellation under any circumstance and for any reason.
How much time after receiving my non custom order do I have to ask to return the item?

Shipping delays or other factors beyond our family's immediate control do not constitute grounds for cancellation or a refund.
