What started as a passion for carpentry by Colby Hawkins, a public school educator, has grown into a team of artisans that serve customers, businesses, and communities from coast to coast. With nearly two dozen furniture builders in our artisan family, our capacity to provide the kind of small-business customer service that folks have come to expect from Hawkins Woodshop continues. We are dedicated to learning new techniques, supporting craftsmen across the nation, and providing quality furniture for our customers! Whether you’re interested in the trade or need custom furniture done in your style for your specific space and color scheme, we’re happy to work with you to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
Our mission is to bring together consumers in search of custom furniture with qualified local artisans in their area. We do this by advertising the work of our craftsmen, exceeding our customers’ expectations, and encouraging a work culture of proactive accountability to one another and to our clients. Our passion is making available the unique benefits and tailor-made aspects of custom woodworking to all consumers! We create value for our customers by expertly crafting each order using a 5 stage, 40 point quality-assurance-checklist, communicating with customers and supervisors throughout each build, and working diligently and flexibly to meet each customer’s unique needs.
Our vision is to achieve sustainable, quality growth by establishing Hawkins Woodshop as the premier locally sourced, handcrafted, and “Made in America” furniture online-shop in our markets.
Hawkins Woodshop is committed to socially and environmentally responsible business practices. This is reflected through our core values: Integrity, Active Listening, Patience, Speed, Innovation, Service, Humility, and Accountability.
